I was born in 1980 in a small town called Pilger, just outside of Humoldt, Saskatchewan. 1994 I moved out to Vancouver island with my parents. After high school I bounced around moving towns several times on my own, but now have found my forever home in beautiful Victoria BC.
The summer of 2009 was when I picked up my first paint brush. And the fascination of applying colours and shapes to canvas totally took over me! I couldn’t get enough. Within months others were interested in my quirky colourful creations and it just kept me motivated. Over time I have put on a few of my own art shows with musicians playing and also lucky to have media coverage. I also attended a few street markets both in Port Alberni and Parksville.
In 2012 I moved out to Strathmore Alberta to partake in casual once a week art classes which my sister ran called Wheatland Society of Arts. It was so fun to be around fellow artists and learning!
In the fall of 2014, I had moved back to Victoria BC (for the 3rd time) and am still painting up a storm!! With no intentions to slow down.
